AxiPrep
Privacy Policy
Your calculations stay on your device. You control exports, optional folder backups, and information sent to support.
Effective date: October 7, 2026
At a glance
- AxiPrep works locally, without accounts, ads, or analytics. It does not automatically upload records to Axiwoven.
- Calculations, drafts, and saved records are stored on your device. Device backups may include app data.
- You decide whether to export files, enable folder backups, or share a problem report, and where to send them.
- Support emails and website visits involve separate processing described below.
Publisher and scope
AxiPrep is published by Andre O. Beringhs, an individual developer using the Axiwoven brand. This policy covers AxiPrep, its support correspondence, and visits to these support and privacy pages. Contact: hello@axiwoven.com. The website-wide privacy policy covers the website’s development-update signup and other website activities.
Local app storage and backups
AxiPrep stores calculator drafts, saved preparation records, materials, reusable inputs, custom conversion definitions, recipes, and batch notes in local app storage. It uses this information to perform calculations, reopen drafts, and maintain your library. The app does not automatically send this content to the publisher, run advertising or analytics SDKs, or require an account.
App data may be included in device backups managed by Apple or by your own computer, depending on your settings. Those backups are separate from an exported AxiPrep library backup. Exported library backups exclude calculator drafts.
Optional automatic folder backups
Automatic backups are off by default. If you enable them and choose a folder, AxiPrep writes dated library snapshots when saved work changes and retries pending writes while the app is active. These files include saved calculations, materials, reusable inputs, recipes, batch notes, and custom conversion definitions, but exclude calculator drafts. Folder permission is stored on your device.
A local folder keeps files locally. If you choose iCloud Drive or another file-provider location, that provider may upload and retain the files under its own settings and policies. Apple manages iCloud storage through your Apple account; see Apple’s privacy policy. AxiPrep’s saved-file status confirms a folder write, not completion of cloud upload. Turning backups off stops future automatic writes; it does not delete earlier snapshots. Restoring requires selecting a file and reviewing its preview. The app does not automatically restore or synchronize libraries between devices.
Deleting local information
Use the app’s available record controls to remove individual saved items. Removing an item from the active library does not necessarily erase separately retained previous library copies or recovery archives. Recovery can preserve original files before replacing an unreadable library. Removing the app using iOS Delete App removes its local app container; offloading the app retains its documents and data. Separately retained device backups, automatic folder snapshots, exported files, and copies you have shared remain under your control or the recipient’s control. Manage or delete those copies separately in their respective locations. We cannot remotely access or erase your local app data.
Exports and sharing you choose
You may export text, PDFs, labels, library backups, or preserved recovery files. iOS lets you select Files, another app, or a recipient. The chosen destination may process or retain the file under its own terms. AxiPrep does not automatically upload these exports to Axiwoven. Check their contents before sharing, especially material names and batch notes.
Problem reports and support emails
A problem report contains the app version, build, iOS version, selected workflow, and your written description. Including calculation inputs and material names is optional and off by default. Your library and diagnostic logs are not automatically attached. You preview the report and choose whether to save or share it; creating a report does not send it to us.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, any name or other details you provide, attachments, and ordinary email metadata. We use them to respond, investigate problems, and improve AxiPrep. Please remove personal or sensitive information that is not needed to explain your issue.
Support email is hosted by Google Workspace (Gmail). Google processes messages and attachments to deliver and maintain the email service. See Google’s Workspace privacy information at https://workspace.google.com/security/. Google Workspace privacy and security information.
Retention and deletion of support correspondence
We delete resolved support emails and attachments from our active support records after 12 months. Unresolved requests are kept while needed to address them. We may retain correspondence longer when required by law. You may request earlier deletion, subject to applicable obligations.
To request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence, email hello@axiwoven.com from the address used for your request. We may need enough information to locate the correspondence and verify the request. Removing correspondence from an active mailbox does not instantly erase provider backups or copies retained by you or other recipients. Provider backup copies expire according to the provider’s processes.
Website hosting and service providers
These pages are hosted by Netlify. When you visit, Netlify processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, and request time. Hosting and security records are separate from local AxiPrep data.
These pages do not set cookies or use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or embedded social-media widgets. Netlify Web Analytics and Real User Monitoring are disabled. Netlify still processes hosting requests and security records and provides operational request metrics. Ordinary links to social-media and other external sites do not load their services until you follow the link; those sites have their own privacy practices.
Technical data is used for website delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Netlify controls retention of its infrastructure and security records under its service policies; we do not promise a specific deletion period for those records. See Netlify’s privacy policy and data processing agreement. Providers receive information needed to perform their services; Netlify and Google Workspace do not receive local app records automatically. A chosen backup or export destination may receive files as described above.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change. A future feature that changes how app information is handled will require an updated disclosure. This policy describes the current local app and support practices, not planned features.
