See how a substance dissolves, crosses a membrane, and appears in collected samples. Nine learning examples explain the assumptions behind the models.
Choose the formulation, test setup, and measurement you want to explore. Try supported models for particle dissolution, diffusion through a slab, and transport between compartments. Each model explains its assumptions.
Compare dissolution profiles using f₁ and f₂, examine how results change over time, and review in vitro release testing (IVRT) measurements from individual cells.
Inside the current build

Work through a simplified example and read the assumptions behind it.

Choose what to measure, then select a model that supports that setup.

Review measured values and missing time points. Estimated values are kept separate from observations.

Studies and sources
Import CSV or Excel files and review how their columns will be used. Save studies on your phone, preserve the original data, and export reports, figures, or backups. Saved analysis records retain their inputs and references.
Browse 93 scientific references offline, with notes on what each source supports. You still need to check whether a model applies to your formulation and experiment.
Scientific boundaries
Simulations use the values you enter and the assumptions of the selected model. A matching curve does not prove the underlying mechanism or validate a prediction for your product.
The current app supports a limited set of models and analyses. Broader curve fitting, uncertainty analysis, and detailed semisolid or fluid-flow models are not included. Profile comparisons do not establish bioequivalence or justify a biowaiver. AxiRelease does not predict clinical absorption, exposure, or treatment outcomes.
Availability
AxiRelease is being developed and tested for iPhone. Independent scientific review, testing against laboratory data, and further usability and accessibility testing are still needed.
